We headed towards Sandra's where we would be spending the rest of the late afternoon hours, so that Noëlle could talk to her "goddaughter" Erica and the family she has been attached to since flying to Cape Verde, despite the fact that I have to always act as the translator. We met Rosana on the way and a few other girls who live in the neighbouring area.

As always we had dinner at Marlene's and were treated to the traditional Cape Verdian "cuscus" with sugar cane honey for dessert before we headed back to the pension where I collected and started sorting out the thanking letters written by the children so that it would be easier to hand them out to the "godparents" once I got back to Lisbon.
