We drove around 2 kilometres out of Hoi Han so as to visit one of the oldest pagodas of the area, though there's some uncertainty as to when Puc Tanh was exactly built, once two dates have been mentioned in regards to its construction , 1454 and 1671, though what is known is that it was by Minh Hai, a Buddhist monk of Chinese origin.
It now houses a few monks, none of whom we came across apart from the old one who was in charge of the bell. It looked rather abandoned despite being a shrine for the many who come to honour Bodhisatlva Avalokiteshvara, a Buddha disciple, whose statue could be seen in one of the main altars.
Excellent way of explaining, and good post to take data regarding my presentation focus, which
ReplyDeletei am going to present in academy.
