On the way to Vank Cathedral; Vank Cathedral and the Armenian quarter - The 28th of October 2018

We left very early in the morning so as to walk all the way to the other side of the Zayande Rud river so as to visit the Vank Cathedral. By the time we reached it we were exhausted but thrilled to spend our morning looking at the walls of this Armenian church covered with frescoes, some of which are rather impressive. I was once more impressed by the images of Hell as I had been in 2014.

From there we moved into the Museum, I had thoroughly photographed some years ago and which we both enjoyed.

We soon found ourselves going to the Museum of Music with Mashad, a friend of mine, to decide on the day I was supposed to hand an Amarantina guitar to its manager and later having tea and cake at "our" special tea house.
