New Zealand circuit - Abel Tasman National Park - Anchorage Bay - Day 9 - The 6th of March 2019 (morning and early afternoon)

We set off very early so as to catch a taxi-boat that would later drop us at the Anchorage bay following a short circuit around the Adele island and the estuary to watch seals and some of the bird life, which can be seen in the area. We were towed to the harbour as we sat on the taxi boat, which looked rather strange from our perspective.

The crossing of the estuary didn't allow us to take too many photos because we couldn't move about on the boat and had to make a tremendous effort to aim at whatever we wanted to photograph from where we were positioned. I managed to  take some because I was at the rear, which was an advantage as far as observing the estuary is concerned but also disadvantageous because of the water that permanently hit me during the cross over.

We managed to watch some seals quietly lying on the shore rocks before we gott off at a rather beautiful beach in Anchorage, where a few people were already getting ready for kayaking.

The track along the coast line was very interesting because of the number of beaches with crystal clear azure waters we could see from where we were actually walking on. We did stop at two of those beaches on the way to the meeting point place and had it not been for not having brought my swimming suit and I would have taken advantage of those fine sand beaches. Birds were a permanent presence throughout the trekking, which was equally interesting.
