Lindy drove the group to theYouth hostel then and although some of us opted to stay indoors my travelling companion and I took to the streets heading downtown soon after we were given our room keys and dropped the bags.
We walked all the way to where we had just come from by bus but this time appreciating the streets' window shopping, the modern buildings mixed with the Victorian type ones, together with the location of some of the things we would be visiting the following day, given the fact that we had no organized tours. The first impressions were positive but only the next days would determine whether they were right.
