The afternoon gathering outside the Motel complex to celebrate on eof the member's of the group birthday was I believe also a very good of a pretext to socialise with the members of the group, once we hadn't had much of an opportunity taking into account the fact that we were mostly covering distances and admiring the landscape during the day and very rarely had time to get to know the group despite having some meals together.
Writing a card and buying a small souvenir for Didier was a special moment for him (one could see he was touched by the gesture), as well as for us all.
Dinner at a special restaurant was the culminating point of a very pleasant day spent together.
