Since I was stolen my wallet in the streets of Paris my latest stays in that city have been mostly brief and above all cautious. I no longer stay at downtown hotels prefering the airport ones despite the inconvenience of having to buy a two way ticket to go to town and back. This is exactly what I did this time. My exploration of the town took me to the Chatelêt les Halles and the surrounding areas along the river Seine before catching my flight home. It was rather sunny and warm for the time of year and the river Seine was as always very "refreshing".
