New Zealand circuit - Christchurch - Day 20 - The 19th of March 2019 (evening)

We were dropped at the Canterbury Museum where a huge amount of people had gathered. There  were important New Zealand State members, as well as immigrants being interviewed, as the number of flowers, toys and messages increased outside the Botanic Gardens. Honouring those who have fallen at the hands of terrorists isn't easy as one realises it could have been just anyone ... We stood there in silence ... we couldn't help it. It took us a while to move further and explore what we could in the eve of our departure.

We took a side street we hadn't been to before and ended up strolling around streets we had never seen. As we did, it started getting cold, so we opted to get back to the hotel and have one last meal at the restaurant next to it.
