The street scenes which kept on "parading" in front of our searching eyes provided us with an insight into the region we were driving through, despite the fact that at that moment we were mere "passive" observers travelling on a rather uncomfortable bus where we barely had space to stretch our legs or change places.
A definitely less "colourful" situation than the one we could see outside ... and the truth is I was dying to "immerse myself" into it ...
