The more I looked and appreciated the creativity unveiled in those frescoes and the whole artistic decoration of the "havelis" the more I wondered what it must have been like to have lived then ... an epoch where the importance of these was incorporated in their daily life and was certainly not dependant on the interest of hundreds of tourists who visit them all throughout the year.
