José Saramago on his 90th birthday ...

The Foundation that bears José Saramago's name has carried out a small exhibition in one of Lisbon Airport's lounges to celebrate this Portuguese Noble Prize winer's 90th birthday, his life and the invaluable words and ideas which are still very much alive today.

Despite having only read five of his books I do ultimately admire some of the subservive perspectives he had throughout his life, as well as the numerous immaginative parabels he used in his writing.
