Kermanshah, Iran - Day 4 (afternoon and evening) - On the way to I Saq vand; back to Kermanshah - The 17th of August 2019

Our main difficulty seemed to find a place in which to eat something once it was gone past the hour of so called "normal" lunches.  We were finally happy to find a restaurant by the road, where many truck drivers were stopped and where we had some very good grilled chicken.

Soon after the meal we were back on the road, this time along rather isolated roads, that seemed to be embedded in the mountains. The whole surrounding landscape was mustard and golden brown as we moved away from "civilization". The rock carved tombs of I Saq vand reminded me of similar burial grounds in Turkey.

Before driving back to Kermanshah to collect my friend who had decided to spend her day at a Beauty Saloon to witness and try the reputation of Iranian beauty "artists" and catch a bus back to Isfahan, we still had time to stop and have our on the way fabricated tea and lie down for a rest under the shade of some trees.
