The whole morning was dedicated to visiting the Moshir Al- Molk's Historical House, whose interior decoration was beyond anything one could possibly imagine. Despite having visited some historic houses before I felt this one was stunningly beautiful. I didn't exactly know where to look because beauty seemed to be everywhere and the more you looked the more you got lost in it.
Prior to visiting the small caligraphy exibition and the inner garden turned into a café we walked up to the last floor onto an open veranda overlooking the main garden, which was equally imposing. We had had the chance of having two guides, Roya, a personal friend who had just recently obtained the guide's licence and the local guide.
We felt the urge of finding out the latest news from Roya, whom we hadn't seen for a year, so just sat down at the Café having some tea and saffron ice cream.
(To be continued)
