The 6 day trip to Denmark and the United Kingdom - the afternoon of the third day - Helsingor (cont.) - the 21st of July 2012

(...)

Considered one of the most well preserved medieval monasteries in Scandinavia, this Gothic building which once belonged to the Carmelites and which was built  in the second half of the fifteenth century now houses a Museum, which was unfortunately closed,  we believed, because of being around midday. We were therefore only allowed into the cloisters.

Further along in the same street Sankt Olai Kirke which was just closing for visits as we got there.

The obvious thing to do seemed to walk along the pedestrian street lined on both sides by shops and cafés and then return to the train station, so as to catch a train back to Copenhagen, so that's what we did, having stopped at a Café to have a cold drink as it was really hot and by then we were exhausted.
