The Romania circuit - the morning of the last day - The Palace Parliament, Bucharest - the 27th of May 2012

I don't think any of us was exactly aware that soon after the visit to the Parliament of Bucharest we would be "dropped" at the airport and that would be the last we would see of Romania (hopefully not for a long time ... at least that's what I expected), because we all got onto the bus as if it were just a normal circuit day.

Colossal in appearance, it is claimed to be the second largest administrative building of the world, after the Pentagon. Its interior is lavishly decorated and though our visit just took us through 10 of the most dazzling and representative halls and rooms (nowadays mostly used for international conferences) ... it is easily imaginable what under different circumstances would not be imaginable.

The final room we visited was the Alexandru Ioan Cuza room with a huge balcony overlooking the city, where I took one last picture with some of the circuit "companions"
