Kermanshah, Iran - Day 2 (morning) - Kurds Bazaar and the Shafei Jameh Mosque - The 15th of August 2019

The second day's guided visits took us back into the Tarikeh bazaar (Kurds Bazaar), more specifically to the traditional Kurdish outfits' section.

By one we headed towards the Shafei Jameh Mosque located within the premises of the Tarikeh bazaar. Set in 1324 by Sunni benefactors it is actually a shrine for Sunni pilgrims.
I was particualrly impressed by its rather colourful decoration, both on the walls and ceiling. It looked like none of the Chiite Mosques I had visited before. We sat quietly in a corner as several Sunnis knelt by the Iwan and prayed. I strolled around afterwards taking pictures and admiring the decorative patterns.
