We left Pisa quite early in the morning so as to take a train to Florence, where we expected to spend the whole day.
The city was overcrowded with tourists as one would have expected, particularly at this time of the year and we had to try to keep a certain "distance" (the word "social distancing" hadn't yet been "invented") once more. Noted for its culture, Renaissance Art and architecture Firenze is always a magic place to be in.
Mia and I had been there before, so it was up to us to show Liam some of its highlights as we strolled along its town centre and beyond and admired the Santa Maria del Fiori Cathedral, the Neptune Fountain, the Ponte Vecchio and finally the Fontana del Porcelino to rub the boar's snout so as to ensure our return to Florence some day in the future.
