We headed to the Agua Clara locks which provided us with a breathtaking view on the Lake Gatun with a huge amount of cargo ships and vessels that transit in it everyday. We took the opportunity to go to the Centre projection room, so as to watch a short film on the Canal, which was very interesting.
Prior to driving to Portobelo we stopped briefly by the Atlantic bridge being built by Vinci, which will span the Atlantic entrance to the Canal, thus becoming the world's longest concrete cable-stayed bridge.
