Dubrovnik, Croatia - Around the Old city walls (the last part) - The 23rd of April 2017

At times the view of the city roofs very much resembled those around the Castle hill in my home town and yet other times there was no possible comparison ... a basketball field squeezed among various houses, a few scattered vineyards, the cloisters of the Franciscan Monastery, the forts, ...  these were certainly part of the  uniqueness of this beautiful city, which couldn't be ignored ...

I finally managed to ask a Japanese tourist to take my photo, because I felt it would be important for future reference ...

Dubrovnik, Coratia - Around the Old city walls (cont. - 2nd part) - The 23rd of April 2017

I continued my circuit around the walls, heading towards the 15th century Bastion, the Mincetta fort. The strolling overlooked some church bells (at least that's what they looked like), some stretches of green embedded in the intricate city layout, the old port, a few narrow streets running towards the Stradun which in turn looked a hundred times more intriguing than they already were as seen at ground level  and St. Luke's tower.

The circuit would soon end but despite having  effectively "occupied" part of my morning it was really worth it.
