Despite being sixteen they virtually made no noise, so committed they were in learning, being shown instruments they had never seen before and particularly making their artistic pieces.
I was especially worried the ones given to the girls wouldn't be finished by Friday. They required a lot of time and the children were only allowed thirty minutes a day for this type of work.
Among the exercises children loved were the matching ones, which they kept on asking me to do. On the 26th the Head of the Training Centre with the head of the operational training paid us a visit and were astounded to see what the children had accomplished on such a short period of time.
Those who finished their artistic pieces were assigned to do the puzzles related to the theme in preparation for the final exhibition day. They worked in small groups each of which was in charge of a particular puzzle.
