Many of the children we hadn't been able to locate the day before started coming around, Veinilson having been the first to collect the present sent to him by his "godfather" João. Along with him came Pedrilson, who not needing a "protector" yet knows that everytime I travel there I always take him some 3D constructions (which I didn't this time because of the overweight).
Kevin was the next one to get his presents and unexpectedly have the chance to meet the mother of his "godparents", once Luis and Catia are Lurdes' son and daughter-in-law respectively.
Justina was to follow. She got a few birthday presents sent to her by her "godmother" Isabel and as always gave us that uncomparable smile of happiness.
Ivete who had been willing to have a "godmother" for so long finally got the first presents sent to her by the "godmother' Mafalda and seemed tobe particularly happy judging from her smile and the fact that I have rarely seen her smile.
Silvana came around not knowing she would be getting presents from a godmother" (Manuela) and was astounded when she received them.
None of these children would be present at the organized birthday party because of their birthday dates but they were nonetheless very happy knowing that some time in the future it will be their turn to have a similar party ... a party they have never had (Justina having been the exception, as a party as organized for her in 2010).
Having found out that Lurdes is a photographer a small studio-like photo session followed, in which Diva, Lou, Mr. Meno, Dulce and the girls who had helped us throughout the morning participated, though it had to be rather quick as Lurdes and I stilll had to go up to Cutelo Miranda and the party would start at midday.
