Soon after having visited the Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra we drove to Ericeira so as to get the sea breeze and take advantage of the nice weather by having lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea. It was much windier than we had expected but we strolled arond the coastline nevertheless in what turned out to be my first ever visit to the village, regarded by many as being Europe's surf Mecca.
