I decided to continue my visit by exploring the upper floor of the Museum. Its stain-glass ceiling showing the coat of arms of all the British dominions and colonies during World War I was worth noting. Most of this floor galleries' exhibits are related to the World Wars and include a Sanctuary and a recreation of a front trench, among some of the rather interesting aspects one should see. We might have clearly stayed much longer but the tight schedule was an impediment, so we proceeded to the first floor.
The "Kewpie" doll was used for fundraising in 1917.
(To be continued)
