Under the direction of a local guide whose knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area was incredible. we went on a walking trail that took us about two hours and provided us with different views of the Golden Gate park from the ones we had had the previous day, despite the fact that the domineering feature were the sandstone cliffs.
Soon after reaching the hotel to collect our luggage we headed towards Clarens reputed for being an artists' haven. My expectation was effectivelly higher and although I managed to buy a few unique handicrafted objects I was partly disappointed. Rain fell heavilly as I made my way to the appointed restaurant so lunch wasn't that tasty when one is dressed up in soaked wet clothes.
