Prior to embarking on my 18 day trip around South Africa I stopped in Paris for a one day and a half. Between the minimalist type of Hotel at Charles de Gaulle and Didier's richly decorated 12th arrondissement home I'd certainly select the latest. I had the unique opportunity of exploring the area around Dausmenil though, from the exquisite Bercy village to the Place des Voges, Place de la Bastille and finally the beautiful little Reilly - Paul Pernin garden.
