Isfahan, Iran - Day 3 - the Imam square -The 18th of August 2019

We reached the Isfahan bus terminal at Kaveh by early morning after a nine hour bus drive that somehow felt less tiring than the one that had taken us to Kermanshah. Because of the heat we decided to stay indoors till around lunch time, which we had just around the corner of alley 37 in Mirdamad.

We then headed back to our favourite square where we intended to spend part of the evening, but not without having strolled around Hash Behesht, where I met a little girl whom I gave a made up colouring bag to and having tea at one of the many patio cafés around the area.

Part of my immediate happiness comes from sitting in the Imam square and just let the light and entertainment sounds fill my soul. I do not seem to need much more.

As night fell and people started "invading" the square we moved onto the Qeysarieh International Museum and Café, so as to have a better view over the square. We just sat there for hours till we felt ready to get back "home". Never had we stayed out for so long ... It was just a magic night ...
