Upon leaving the Koohrang camp we drove a bit further so as to have a look at the Koohrang waterfall, which was then being visited by a huge number of locals. I had the privilege of meeting a Bakhtiari leader and his family, whom I spent some time talking to.
The long drive which followed took us back into the golden dry looking colours of the surrounding landscape, which after a time get embedded in you as if you were the landscape yourself.
We ended up stopping on the side of the road not too far from the Cham Galle village to eat something. The proposed meal was grilled fish and we enthusiastically accepted it, so as to prepare ourselves for the next part of our long journey.
