We opted to start the tour by visiting Chehel Sotoun rather than the Ali Qapu, right in front of us, mainly because it happens to be one my favourite Palaces, one I have been three times to and never seem to get tired of. The inner chamber frescoes are absolutely stunning. There are always details I don't seem to have looked at in previous visits, as well as different angles to the same frescoe that inevitably leave me speechless, whether I want it or not.
