I reached Paris fairly early in the morning to find out its temperatures were much more "appealling" than the ones I had left behind. As soon as I left the luggage at Charles de Gaulle airport I made it to the centre of town, so as to meet one of my beloved trip companions from the Iranian Azerbaijan circuit.
From the Daumesnil area where Didier lives I was guided along part of the old tram railway system now turned into garden-like pathways till we made it to the Marais area and farther into Chatelet.
Never had I strolled along the streets of Paris under such sun ...
