Soon after the Odzun visit we headed towards Alaverdi, within the area of the Haghpat Monastery we would be visiting in the afternoon.
We stopped at the Qefo Hotel restaurant which overlooked the Debed canyon and whose view was breathtaking.
Lunch didn't differ much from the copious ones we had had before, though there was a little taste of Easter in the form of a sponge cake toped with caster sugar.
