Bordeaux - Day 3 (morning cont.) - The Museum of Contemporary Art - The 1st of December 2013

(...)

We ventured in to the Contemporary Art Museum despite the fact that none of us is particularly keen on Modern Art. I was positively surprised some of the artistic compositions displayed in the temporary exhibition, though it were the permanent ones that mostly impressed me, from the "open book" series of forty portraits to some of the paintings.

Jean Baudriard - Cool Memories (left). Anne-Marie Jugnet (right).

Combas (left). Pascal Quignard - Vie Secrète (right).

Annette Messager - Les tortures volontaires (right).

David Boeno - Rhapsodie de l'éllipse.

 Jean-Luc Mylayne.

 Maurice Blanchot - L'entretien Infini.

Hervé Guibert - L'image fantôme (right).

If I were to be asked what the experience was like I'd have to say that the one hour and a half visit was worthy every minute of it ...
