Bordeaux - Day 3 (late afternoon cont.) - The 1st of December 2013

(...)

We made it to the Beaux Arts Museum to soon find out it was closed for repairing works.

We then decided to continue walking along Rue Dubergier having turned left until we reached the Synagogue, which was also closed. Many of those killed during the Nazi period were beyond no doubt of Portuguese origin  (Gomes, Silva, Rodrigues, Pereira, Ferreira, Lopes, Lopes Silva, Levy, Mendes, Torres and Vidal) and although we had read somewhere that there was a Portuguese cemetery we didn't manage to locate it in any of the available maps.
