The Romania circuit - the afternoon of the fourth day - The Moldovita Monastery (inside) - the 23rd of May 2012

If the Moldovita Monastery had a strong impact on us just from an outside perspective so did the inside frescoes on its inside walls.

Within the church  one could see several frescoes depicting saints and martyrs being massively decapitated. Worth of note were also the frescoes depicting the Crucifixion of Christ, together with an image of an expressive Virgin and child.

Once more the sister who accompanied us made sure no question was left unanswered and taking into account her deep knowledge on the frescoes and other related matters, we felt extremely priviledged  to have had such a guide.

By the time we left the Monastery on our way to visit another one in the region - The Sucevita Monastery I felt that no other would impact me the way this one had.
