We spent most of the afternoon in the amazingly vast and beautiful Botanical Garden at whose entrance stood a sculpture representing a cheetah chasing a buck, which I found to be very appealing prior to having initiated a personal exploration of part of its area that is believed to propagate some rather rare indigenous plant species, some of which we would later foind in the glasshouse at one of the exits.
One of the most interesting parts of the complex was the sculpture garden displaying numerous life size sculptures. It gave it a touch of open air Museum, which I absolutelly fell for.
When we reached Cape Town and before getting ready for dinner at the Mariner's Warf we made a brief stop at the Ashby Manor where we would be spending our last two days of the circuit.
