We strolled along the river as the grayish sky took over the whole atmosphere where a few statues managed to stand out. We soon made our way back up into the upper part of the city, so as to try to buy our Museum entrances for the following day.
We took some time photographing the Kunstmuseum columns and the outstandingly powerful sculpture which stood at the Museum courtyard. According to what we had read the 1936 building houses one of the most complete Art collections in Switzerland and we had no intentions of missing it.
"The burghers of Calais" by August Rodin
Prior to having made our way to the hotel we stopped at a rather inexpensive Chinese restaurant close to the main train station, we had been to the day before and which we considered almost too good to be true, as far as food, taste and price are concerned.
