My 12 day stay in Isfahan - Day 3 (afternoon) - Kashan -The Agha Bozorg Mosque - The 29th of November 2017

Before heading to the Agha Bozorg Islamic complex we stopped briefly at another Mosque where Mohammad did his prayers. I wandered around as some Art students sat on the ground copying some of the decoratif motifs on both the walls and ceilings.

Considered one of the finest Islamic complexes of the mid 19th century, the Agha Bozorg comprises two courtyards, one of which located at a lower level is actually a Madrasah with the Theological students' rooms around it. It has a garden with a few trees and a fountain in the middle, which gives the whole ensemble a touch of peaceful magic.

I couldn't help admiring the symmetrical designs, particularly the ones on the ceilings. They made me "fly" into the spirals" of the unknown, as my thoughts wandered about in circles.
