We continued distributing presents to children whose photos I had taken last time but whom I didn't find any "godparents" for until then.

 

 

 

One little girl who had unexpectedly caught the attention of the family of my former boss got a few gifts and the promise of protecting "godparents". A glimpse of happiness could be seen on her mother's face.

 

Sandra Leitão's "protegée"came along to collect her presents with two of her younger siblings, one of whom I had brought presents for as well.

 

 

 

 

It was then Jussara, Marquinho, Lara, Éricles, Felizberto, Patrick, Juliza, Jéssica Patrícia and Jocelyne's' turn to collect their presents, together with Adriana's aunt. All of them have had "godparents" for a while.

Some of the latest children to have got themselves godparents (Cláudia and Elsa) came afterwards and though they didn't express themselves too effusively I could clearly see their discreet smiles ...
