Children assembled outside the pension, so as to receive their presents and the first girl to show up in the afternoon was Falciane I had bought some things for before she got herself a "last minute godmother", Filomena. She was particularly happy to have received so many presents.
Eduardinho (who has had a new "godmother" recently) was the next one and though he doesn't show his joy in terms of his facial expression I know he is always pleased when he gets books and school material, which is what seems to interest him the most, once I have known him since he was a small child.

Ana Helena followed and I was particuarly surprised to have finally managed to get her smile (she has had a "godmother for the last two years).

Ivanilde Elena came after and though she cannot express herself verbally because of being deaf and mute her discreet smile seemed to say it all. She has had a "godmother" for the last 4 years.

A young man and Edmilsa I haven't yet found "godparents for" came after and despite a certain "disapointment" were nevertheless happy to have had some presents and new clothes.

Gerson, who attended some of my workshops when he was younger and who has been putting small change aside for a computer, came around to collect some money a colleagu of mine, Azevedo decided to provide him with so as to realise his dream of one day buying the computer he has been "fighting for".

Little Bruno, Aniza and Matias (whom I haven't found a "godparent" for) came after and seemed happy with their presents.

Little Claudia was among the ones I felt especially happy to hand out some new clothes (they normally wear to church) because of her family situation, though little Daiana's handing out wasn't less heartfelt. Daiana's mother collected Ismael presents as well.
