Noëlle and I still had one hour before lunchtime with the Calheta de São Miguel council members, whose invitation we had accepted so we strolled around the village up to the Church and the beginning of Veneza road in the company of Leinira and Tarine, who have been our greatest "companions" throughout every distribution of the presents over the past three years.

As we were heading back I came across one of my "goddaughters", Elcy who has outgrown me physically, as it can easily be noted in the photograph we took together.
