As Mia and I walked into Cordoaria Nacional we already knew what to expect from this grandiose photo project - Genesis, carried out by Sebastião Salgado which would take us through various continents in what the author considered a tribute to the beauty of the planet.
Having previously seen the documentary film produced by his own son together with Wim Wenders which also indirectly "touched" this recent project - The Salt of the Earth, I had already seen most of the photos in display but what I didn't know was that their size and "proximity" would have such a greater "physical" impact on me ...
