Another challenge ...

Every new group of students brings about a new challenge but I wouldn't be honest of I were not to say that students from the former Portuguese colonies in Africa are those who "force" us to adapt our methodologies and course syllabuses and be creative so as to bring out the best of them, taking into account the different learning approaches they are commonly used to.

Carline, Milay and Heraclito (from left to right)

Principe island pertaining to São Tomé and Principe is where Milay, Carline and Heraclito are from and despite the fact that its small airport hasn't got English speaking crews flying in on a regular basis, they are expected to be able to understand and provide them with the required information.

What will happen after such a short plain and Aeronautical oriented English course is something none of us can anticipate, but I have a feeling they won't do too bad ...
