Lisbon elevator-trams dressed up for the festivities of the city ... and artistic sardine tins "under the spell " of Portuguese - oriented culture ...

The Lisbon elevator-trams have been adequately dressed up in preparation for the Lisbon city festivities and though I believe the choice of having them "tile-like" dressed wasn't too bad a choice in cultural terms the previous vibrant yellow colour seemed somehow more appealing ...

Antje Weber, a foreign artist residing in Portugal has magically taken some Portuguese - oriented themes and "dressed -up" sardine tins in what could be considered just the adequate approach for the Festivities of Lisbon.

In spite of being rather difficult to photograph (due to the glass of the "shop-window" of the first floor lounge of Cinema São Jorge, where they are currently being exhibited at) I decided to give it a try, because of the originality of the project.

Who would have thought of this? ...Or better, who would have been creative enough to have thought of this. My congratulations go out to the artist, whose ideas and actual "design" must be praised.

Despite the crisis we seem to keep on  being "creative"  ... I just wish some of the members of our Government had some of this artistic craft  ... and who knows what they would be able to do !...
