We decided to walk towards the fishing harbour so as to distribute the presents by the children who had recently got themselves "godparents".

Héricles was the first of the children we came across and as his expression clearly shows he wasn't aware of what was going on, as we handed him the bag with the presents sent by Lurdes. He got some of those out and seemed at one point extremely enthusiastic with the train, but it wasn't until his mother showed up to thank us for the concern that he realised the clothes, the toy and the little bag with fruit gums were effectively for him.
The next ones to show up were the siblings Hélida and Adriana, who being older (7 and 9 years old) fully understood that we had found them "godmothers", who had sent them beautiful outfits, that they would not be able to wear immediately, but which they gladly put in front of them, so as to show how happy they were.

Little Jamilson had a similar reaction
to Héricles' when he got the presents sent to him by Sara and Tony, but
fortunately his mother was with him all the time and she is seen in the
photograph displaying an expression of absolute happiness for the little
boy and above all the fact that we didn't forget him.
