The Summer English Language and Art course (short duration) for 7-9 year old children - Lisbon - 23 and 24th of July 2018

The number of enrolled children exceeded my expectations and because many of them had been my students in previous years I simply decided to accept them all - a total of 16, which for what I had in mind was going to be a real challenge, not only in terms of resources but also in regards to the pedagogical approach.

 

 

We would be "travelling" the world ... carried away by musical instruments from various countries. The artistic works would be related to some of those countries. Among some of the activities children would be introduced to different musical styles and later try to identify them in classroom games.

Everyone loved the final presentation, judging from the way they clapped their hands The children sang so beautifully that they were asked to sing again by the public present in the auditorium. The Art exhibition in the upper floor seems to have also pleased everyone who visited it.

 

 

 

 

All is well that ends well ... but would it be if it ended extremelly well ...
