Calheta de São Miguel, Santiago island - Cape Verde - The handing out of the presents - The 11th of February 2018 (early afternoon)

Stopping at Celeste's is a must and religion is always the ongoing theme, though we didn't stay long this time as we still had a huge number of presents to distribute. Upon reaching the pension we came across a number of children already waiting for us.

Calheta de São Miguel, Santiago island - Cape Verde - Lunchtime break - The 11th of February 2018

We had a lunch break and thus set out to Nate's where we would be having lunch. Despite having envisaged a calmer moment, I nevertheless carried a few presents I would have the chance of handing out either on the way up or down from the hill.  We came across a few children and mothers who in turn handed us the thanking letters written by their children.
