English Workshop (short duration) for 4-6 year old children (cont.) - The 25th and 26th of July 2013

(...)

The last two days of the workshop were of excitement and nervousness as the children would be making a small presentation for the parents on Friday, so as to show them what they had learned.

A colleague of ours, who came into the classroom, so as to take some photographs of the children witnessed some of their ongoing "Artistic activities", as well as the English class and part of the rehearsal of the song they would be singing for the parents, seemed impressed.

Although some of the children showed an extreme nervousness the last day, particularly prior to the presentation, it all went well. They felt really proud to have sung for the parents and those who came to watch the little "show", but also to have received a "diploma", taken all the "artistic" pieces home with them and been awarded a parrot-shaped balloon.

"All is well that ends well" ... and that's the feeling I had as the last morning came to an end, the sense of a "mission" accomplished, but above all the fact that everyone seemed happy.
