The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce ...

I had already picked this book several times before and yet had never decided to take it home with me. What finally led me to do it over the weekend is beyond my understanding but I do confirm it was "impossible to put down" (as according to the Times).

It is a very touching book on what a moment of impulse and boldness, as far as attitudes are concerned, may lead to - a decision that may initially sound senseless ... may even be considered childish ... and yet has a purpose - an emotional  adventure that in turn paves the way to the gradual "transformation" of a fairly repressed, apparently colourless and hesitant character but this book goes beyond this aspect and touches many other issues, such as one's innermost feelings, emotional malaise, regret, family and friendship bonds, death, existing versus living ...

Worth reading and rereading ..., as it may "change" one's perspective in regards to the impact and importance things one has either not said  or done (yet) ...
